  3. Your friend's site is interesting, even if I didn't understand any of it (being a poor, monolingual American)

Oh, and your statement is true for a certain falue of true. That value being a lack of excessive alcohol. :)
Of course, that's usually what leads to all the biting...

  4. She will soon make her webpage in english, so you can read it. I will put a post here when she does.
I studied photography with her last year...she has some really awesome stuff, but none of it online now, I could see. I will force her to update it.

  7. I have the vivid memory of that start of chapter. In the previous one Leland died and (well done! you remembered!) they had that walk in the woods. I was really in a grieving mood when Cooper (again!) had the precise words to say to Sarah.

Welcome home, Dr. Jacoby. You appear to have fully
    recovered from your recent setback.

Nothing beats the restorative powers of Hanalei Bay.

Photography, traveling, anything can be our personal Hanalei Bay...the important thing is to keep asking your heart for the right path to it and you will find out.

  9. Yes, I thought that was really beautiful. I remember I cried when Cooper said that. It`s so true.

Something related to this - to see the difference in saying goodbye to a person, and saying goodbye to the dream you had of somebody. It has taken me some years to see it clearly, but it also has made a lot of a difference in how I relate to people.
