Finding forgotten me
...
Today I was walking along the streets of Barcelona, enjoying the sunshine. Then I passed an art supply store. Something told me to get in there, I just had to. The moment I entered the smells flew to me in gentle streams. The smells of my old life, paintings, brushes, powders, ink, crayons, liquids.....the life of creating with your hands. I instantly started to cry. This made me understand how much I have missed this expression and also more important, how much it is ME! I bought a shitload of stuff and ran home!
I will starve for a month, but I am Happy Now! Hehehehe!

Scar
The tenderness
in a scar
the edge around
the old vound
a fragile red thread
An accident
that nearly killed you
the weakness
in this little point
on your throat
is the most beautiful
on all of you
Broken
I am getting closer to
life
in a new way
The little broken
things
Gives me an own
tenderness now
Your little flaws
are beautiful
and the pain
in your eyes
All this
- new
- old
that always was there
deeper
real
Now I can dare to see it
You
I only hold
your fingers
in the tips
just touching softly
and slowly I let
them slide away
In the air
that remains
the empty space where
your hands used to be
lies the memories
The tenderness
in a scar
the edge around
the old vound
a fragile red thread
An accident
that nearly killed you
the weakness
in this little point
on your throat

Paris, je t'aime
Small short stories of love, seen from different perspectives and totally different people. Each story is written by a different person. They are all taking part in the city of Paris.
All from the divorcees to the mother who has lost her child.
A very few of them ended a little "American style", but it was bearable.
The rest was true, heartwarming and close.
And even though it was not a "typical" feelgood movie. Some of the plots were more real and down to earth, I left the cinema with a lovely feeling. Maybe just because of that.
A movie worth a trip to the cinema
Marie Antoinette
The life of the famous queen under the french revolution.
Supposedly seen from a modern perspective.
The only modern feeling I got from it was, that there were sequels where you got a feeling that the direction is made by young teenage American girls who loves decadent lives and shopping.
The movie ends up being an extremely shallow portrait of a woman, which we never really get to know.
And it stays on the surface from beginning to end....If you want torture, go see it.
I am sorry. but Sofia Coppola did not follow in her fabulous fathers footsteps this time (One of my alltime favs, Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula)
I was ready to leave after 20 minutes, but kept through, in all fairness to the movie
- in case it would surprise me.
It didn't!
Anybody else with recommendations?
Don't hesitate to comment. I love to see new movies!

Unpoetry
I am born in between your thoughts and your words
Everything you see has a meaning
What are you what are you I scream
A human?
hahahahahahha, what a funny thought
Fool yourself with little illusions and names and labels and words
Little sounds you make, but you are good to have learned them aren't you?
I am born in between meanings, in between the lies you tell yourself
I can see and I cant see you there
But always always always
Do you think I am crazy?
I am you
I am born in between your thoughts and your words
Everything you see has a meaning
What are you what are you I screamA human?

Freedom comes when you learn to let go
Creation comes when you learn to say no

Happy international women's day everybody!
Celebrate to truly see women, not as a symbol or something twisted
Not as an icon, or divided into different parts, like
sex, person, soul, mother, Madonna, whore, goddess, perfection
Not on a high pedestal, possessed, wore down, controlled or fallen
But as wonderful people of femininity
that contains all of these aspects of strength and weakness
Allow us to be humans! Not projections!
Everything I have washed smells new and clean
The sunshine falls strong through my window today
I am clean
I am happy
I found myself again
Celebrate to truly see women, not as a symbol or something twisted
Not as an icon, or divided into different parts, like
sex, person, soul, mother, Madonna, whore, goddess, perfection
Not on a high pedestal, possessed, wore down, controlled or fallen
But as wonderful people of femininity

THE POWER OF GOODBYE
by Madonna
Your heart is not open, so I must go.
The spell has been broken? I loved you so.
Freedom comes when you learn to let go.
Creation comes when you learn to say no.
You were my lesson I had to learn.
I was your fortress you had to burn.
Pain is a warning that something's wrong.
I pray to God that it won't be long.
There's nothing left to try.
There's no place left to hide.
There's no greater power than the power of goodbye.
Your heart is not open, so I must go.
The spell has been broken? I loved you so.
You were my lesson I had to learn.
I was your fortress.
There's nothing left to lose.
There's no more heart to bruise.
There's no greater power than the power of goodbye.
Learn to say goodbye.
I yearn to say goodbye.
There's nothing left to try.
There's no place left to hide.
There's no greater power than the power of goodbye.
There's nothing left to lose.
There's no more heart to bruise.
There's no greater power than the power of goodbye.

Ode til Karin Boye
This woman speaks directly to my soul
Of Course It Hurts
Of course it hurts when buds burst.
Otherwise why would spring hesitate?
Why would all our fervent longing
be bound in the frozen bitter haze?
The bud was the casing all winter.
What is this new thing, which consumes and bursts?
Of course it hurts when buds burst,
pain for that which grows
and for that which envelops.
Of course it is hard when drops fall.
Trembling with fear they hang heavy,
clammer on the branch, swell and slide -
the weight pulls them down, how they cling.
Hard to be uncertain, afraid and divided,
hard to feel the deep pulling and calling,
yet sit there and just quiver -
hard to want to stay
and to want to fall.
Then, at the point of agony and when all is beyond
help,
the tree's buds burst as if in jubilation,
then, when fear no longer exists,
the branch's drops tumble in a shimmer,
forgetting that they were afraid of the new,
forgetting that they were fearful of the journey -
feeling for a second their greatest security,
resting in the trust
- that creates the world.
- Karin Boye
Swedish version
(more beautiful in my opinion)
YOU SHALL THANK
You shall thank your gods,
if they force you to go
where you have no footprints
to trust to.
You shall thank your gods,
if all shame on you they pin.
You must seek refuge
a little further in.
What the whole world condemns
sometimes manages quite well.
Outlaws were many
who gained their own soul.
He who is forced to wild wood
looks on all with new sight,
and he tastes with gratitude
life's bread and salt."
You shall thank your gods,
when your shell they break.
Reality and kernel
the sole choice you can make.

Latley....
I have been empty for written words. I have been going through so many things, and one of them is trying to find my own borders. It is very hard, but it also includes opening up in some places, and closing in some.
I have learned so much from life after I moved here to Spain. It has been an intense process from the first day I decided to actually make a commitment in my life, my photographic studies. This has brought so much up in me, and new things keep coming into my life that challenges me, to find my own path. And it is beautiful and hard.
So....
I will still be blogging, but a little rarely and in a different manner than what you are used to.
Best to all of you, I love your comments and that you still pop by here!

Drawings
I was showing somebody my old drawings online the other day, and I figured I should post them for the new readers of my blog.
These are the only drawings I have scanned down and got online, so they are quite old.
Sometime in the future I will probably put on some newer things.
They are more or less exercises in trying to capture the human body.

This last drawing I made as a illustration to a childrens-book I have written.
I have used ink and watercolors, which is an extremely funny combination of remedies
to "play" with. When I first discovered ink I was glued to my drawing-table for weeks.
This is the first drawing I made with ink.
(PS: The scanner has fucked up the quality a little, so don't hold that against me, he he)

And it was at that age. Poetry arrived
in search of me. I don`t know. I don`t know where it came from.
from winter or a river
I don`t know how or when
no , they were not voices, they
were not
words, nor silence,
but from the street I was summoned
from the branches of night
abruptly from the others,
among violent fires
or returning alone,
there I was without a face
and it touched me
-Pablo Neruda

Saturday is my birthday
I turn 29
Its a good age, I like it
I didnt use to
It always sounded so grown up
serious
drained of play
And now I just laugh about that
It is two numbers
2 and 9

Sleepwalking
I have started to sleepwalk again
I used to do this a lot fourteen years ago, but then it also stopped permanently after a few years.
My room-mates were sitting in the living room. The only thing I remember was a foggy sensation about it being very hard to walk and feeling dizzy. After that I woke up in the middle of the living room and my room mates were laughing
Obviously I had come in there and talked to them in Norwegian, looking like I was objecting strongly about some point
waving my arms and all.
The weird thing is that I didnt just do it one time, two hours later I did the exact same thing again.
I wonder why this is returning now and what it has to say for me
I once read that sleepwalkers are only 6% of the population. That they are easier to hyponotize. That they have a more open doorway to their subconcious psyche, than what is normal. And that they possably are in lack of a natural "drug" in the brain that paralizes your body when you are in the R.E.M sleep (Rapid Eye Movement)
it is a facinating and strange phenomena.
If somebody knows more about it, dont hesitate to comment
