It wasn´t my fault!!! I tell you!!!!

It's the blind zebra who lives under the bathtub who did it!!!"

(I swear)
The art of demotivation

I have mixed feelings about this, but yet
found a lot of them to be very funny

When people are free to do as they please, they usually imitate each other.

  • If you're attractive enough on the outside, people will forgive you for being irritating to the core.
  • There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots
  • Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be
  • When birds fly in the right formation, they need only exert half the effort. Even in nature, teamwork results in collective laziness
  • Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
  • Always remember that you are unique. Just like everybody else.
  • It's difficult to comprehend how insane some people can be. Especially when you're insane.
  • None of us is as dumb as all of us.

GRACIAS A LA VIDA
~ Violetta Parra

Some of the people through history who made the most beautiful tributes to life with their art, also ended their lives by own hand. I guess sometimes you need to be in the deepest pain to be able to experience the true magnificent beauty of life
Here is a text by Violetta Parra which I find very beautiful

Graba noche y día, grillos y canarios
Martillos, turbinas, ladridos, chubascos
Y la voz tan tierna, de mi bien amado

Gracias a la vida, que me ha dado tanto
Me ha dado el sonido, y el abecedario
Con el las palabras, que pienso y declaro
Madre, amigo, hermano y luz alumbrando

(Violeta Parra)

Gracias a la vida
is the best-known composition of the Chilean poet, artist, and musician Violeta Parra. Violeta (as she is affectionately known throughout Latin America) traveled all over Chile and collected folk songs. She was friends with Pablo Neruda and shared his vision of art as being from and for the people. Violeta Parra played a very important role in the resurgence of the traditional music in Chile, which pushed the old sounds, almost forgotten in her time, to a new dimension that was both poetic and rhythmic.

She was sensible, but at the same time intense, and was always against the establishment, viewing it as a limit to creativity. Her life was full of rich experiences that continually shaped her music, making it part of the historical process of Chile, Latin America, and the world. Violeta Parra died February 5, 1967. She killed herself in "La Carpa de la Reina"

What is justice?
What makes a crime a crime?

“If you kill one person you are a murderer.
If you kill ten people you are a monster.
If you kill ten thousand you are a national hero.”

Crime For Crime

the big day has come
the bell is sounding
i run my hands through my hair one last time
outside the prison walls
the town is gathering
people are trading crime for crime

everyone needs to see the prisoner
they need to make it even easier
they see me as a symbol, and not a human being
that way they can kill me
say it's not murder, it's a metaphor
we are killing off our own failure
and starting clean

standing in the gallows
everyone turned my way
i hear a voice ask me
if I've got any last words to say
and i'm looking out over the field of familiar eyes
somewhere in a woman's arms a baby cries

i think guilt and innocence
they are a matter of degree
what might be justice to you
might not be justice to me
i went to far, i'm sorry
i guess now i'm going home
so let any amongst you cast the first stone
now we've got all these complicated machines
so no one person ever has to have blood on their hands
we've got complex organizations
and if everyone just does their job
no one person has to understand

you might be the wrong colour
you might be too poor
justice isn't something just anyone can afford
you might not pull the trigger
you might be out in the car
and you might get a lethal injection
'cause we take a metaphor that far

the big day has come
the bell is sounding
i run my hands through my hair one last time
outside the prison walls
the town has gathered
people are trading crime for crime
people are trading crime for crime
people are still trading crime for crime

Twin Peaks quote

COOPER
Roger, I know the move I'm supposed to make. And I
know the board.
HARDY
So ...
COOPER
I've done a lot of thinking. And I've started to focus out
beyond the end of the board. On a bigger game.
HARDY
What 'game'?

COOPER
The sound wind makes through the pines. The sentience
of animals. The last thought of a homeless man before he
takes a night's sleep. What we fear in the dark. And
what's beyond the dark.
HARDY
What the hell are you talking about?
COOPER
I'm talking about seeing beyond fear, Roger. About
looking at the world with love.
HARDY
Cooper, you're liable to be extradited for murder and
drug trafficking -
COOPER
That's something I can't control

JEG GIKK MEG VILL I SKOGENE

Jeg rømte fra min elskede
jeg sa mitt hus farvel
jeg vandret landeveiene
Alene med meg selv
Jeg gikk meg vill i skogene
Og nå er det blitt kveld

Og langs de bleke stiene
Er mange bål brent ned
Her hastet andre videre
Her hastet de avsted
Mot fjellene, mot stjernene
Mot glemsel og mot fred

Jeg gikk meg vill i skogene
Og natten stunder til
NÃ¥ vil jeg tenne opp igjen
En annens gamle ild
Og siden følge sporene
Hvor også hun for vill

Happy 17. Mai

This is a traditional dress from Norway - Nord Møre.
Every district in Norway has their very own dresses and patterns.
It is called a bunad.
The bunad you wear reflects the origion of your family
and has to be the pattern of the place they come from.
It is costum in Norway to wear it on the
Norwegian constitution day, which is the 17 of May.

I am...

...back in Norway (for holidays) and seeing it with new eyes.
Everything from:
"Wow, this is wonderful and beautiful" to
"I will soon be back here and die slowly from boredom"
I am just observing my reactions, and it is very interesting

Riddle

THE WORLDS HARDEST RIDDLE

I turn polar bears white
and I will make you cry.
I make guys have to pee
and girls comb their hair.
I make celebrities look stupid
and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown
and make your champagne bubble.
If you squeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

97% of Harvard graduates can not figure this riddle out, but 84% of kindergarten students were able to figure this out in 6 minutes or less. Good luck

Nationstates

Again, I have made a new country after letting my old one slowly sink to death, because I forgot to tend to it.
For those who have not tried this out, it is quite fun
You create your own state, and rule it, answering different political issues.
Then you get sorted into categories by the site, after how you mange your country.

It makes you more aware of your own political standards, views, and where you stand
You might get surprised.

Saint Jordi´s day, 23. April

Today it is Sant Jordi´s day (Spanish language: San Jorge, Catalan language: Sant Jordi (Saint George), and here it is a tradition giving away a rose (to women) and a book (to men) to those that you care for and love
Saint George is known for killing a Dragon (ca. 275-281–April 23, 303) and was a soldier of the Roman empire. (from Anatolia, now modern day Turkey)
He was venerated as an Islamic and Christian martyr.

Saint George also came to be considered as patron to the Crown of,amongst others, Catalonia

This tradition which combines a rose as a symbol of love and a book as a symbol of culture, has turned April 23rd into a gay and festive celebration which fills the streets and squares with book and flower stalls. It is a day for walking around and enjoying the spectacle of streets turning into open-air book shops.
In other words - a good time to visit Barcelona!
Enjoy!
