Try this out if you feel like it
Follow these steps and really take your time with it....
Buy a grape
Take one in your hand
1: Look at it thoroughly:
What colour does it have? Does it have different colors?
Does it have any cracks?
Is it smaller or larger than normal? How does it smell?
2: Take it in your mouth and roll it around. Feel it with your tongue
What does it feel like? Is it soft? Hard? Smooth?
3: Take a bite of it
What does it taste like? Is it sour? Sweet? Or both? Anything else?
4: Chew it and enjoy the taste. How does it feel to chew it? Does it taste any different from when you just took one bite?
5: Eat it all up
6: Did this grape taste any different than other grapes you have had before. If yes...Why?

List nr 13: Things I loved as a kid

After having worked with children a lot, you start to think about some things
Like the development of personality
The funny thing is that you see their differences and personalities sooo early. Its truly fascinating
And I see that the things I loved to do as a kid, reflects who I am still today.
I was talking to my sweet grandmother here the other day and she told me stories from when I was a kid. She said that these were a few of the things I loved to do:

1.Go up to a big mudpond close to the house and jump all around in it (especially those time they put on my shiny, white, newly washed overall)

2.Sing, sing and sing. After she had put me to bed and gone downstairs I would always get up and hold on to my bed while singing to myself until I collapsed in my bed and fell asleep

3.Invent stories. And it seems I was very good at it as well. I have a friend of mine who still believes that I had tree blue cats. She claims that she even saw them (this is what makes me believe I was a real badass at telling the stories, haha), but that they were blown away by the wind, she claims, and that's how I lost them.

4.Dares. I could for some reason never say no to a dare. I ate dangerous stuff just because somebody said that I wouldn't do it. And got in trouble with the kindergarten, doing stuff people told me I wouldn't dare to do. Ha ha! Nobody tells me that I cannot do something!!!!

5.Doing stuff that seemed risky. Me and my best friend had a favorite hobby: Climbing roofs and jumping from the next roof to the other.
To get to the first "Starters roof" at my house, we had tree options.
-Either to climb a pretty easy and safe way (which we never chose, as it was boring)

-Or go through the neighbor's gardens (where there lived a woman who always used to scream at us, if she saw us) which I did now and then, cause it was a little fun,

-Or climb a plank we called "the rotten one" (which looked like it would collapse any day soon and which also was very hard to climb and which we were advised never to climb again after a neighbor saw us doing it), Of course I chose this one I most of the time, haha!

6.Draw. I have been drawing like my life depended on it ever since I was a tiny little bugger. My mother had to buy new sheets og paper all the time cause I was drawing so quickly.

I used to draw my own comics that often had either a comment on political, romantic or religious issues (yes, we were quite occupied with politics even though we didnt get much of it), I find them quite satirical and funny when I read them now. (Looking at this drawing - what do you think he is saying?)

Then in 7 grade there was this girl that drew very slowly and precise. This influenced me a lot, since I thought it was so pretty, and I had a looong period where I made the most awfully boring drawings. I later found back to my more "rough, and quick" style, which I still prefer.

7:Climb. All kinds of stuff. Trees, buildings, roofs. (See point 5)
The tree on the picture is one of my fav trees in the world. (I think I am secretly in love with him.) He is a grand old oak - they are my favourite, because they are so gnarly, twisted, powerful and nice.

8.Talk and laugh. I seemed to be an extremely outgoing kid. And also almost happy all the time. My teacher called me our class butterfly, twirling from person to person laughing and talking and smiling.
I had an extreme downperiode from 13 to 19, being very introverted and shy. (Mostly because of some really bad experiences) But now I feel I am back to my true nature.

9.Explore. Every little mudpond was a little adventure full of magical worlds. I still think they are and I never get tired of exploring :)

10:Cuddle and hugs. Will never get tired of that. I have never met anybody yet that has "outcuddled me". I can cuddle for days straight. Ha ha!

My own comments to the list I made yesterday

Yesterday I was in a "Get the hell away from me mood"
It doesn't happen that often, but it does. I think it occurs if I feel that somebody is trying to manipulate me and then I just back off from the entire thing.

Now I am back to my good old "I love the world" mood he he, and thats the true me. The other version is more of a defence-mechanism.

Thought I should add some comments to my yesterday post.

1 I am also also very flexible and ready to see other points of view
2 If somebody shows me that I am wrong I have no trouble admitting it and go with their way
3 With "clingy" I mean : they dont respect signals - they dont follow a natural flow of relating. Like if I send them one message they send me 7......
4 .....If you get my point. There should be balance
5 Co-dependency is not a good idea, somebody independent and selfsecure is always a good idea (I am not here to make your world complete)
6 I also give a lot of freedom
7 I think that's just healthy and with the right person I don't need that much alonetime actually
8 Why not find somebody who is okay with that? And also, If I am in love, I get totally focused on that one person.
9 This could be a very beneficial point for a special someone, he he
10 Who cares really? And if they do...Ha ha, I think that would be kinda petty.
11 Could be a problem, but I am working on myself every day
12 I wouldn't be with somebody who also didn't sherish alone-time
13 I wouldn't be attracted to somebody who wasn't "weird" (In the eyes of society)
14 This is a big problem for me, but I am also working on this. Would need a lot of understanding here and also a lot of excitement in a relationship
15 And not someone clingy ;)
16 Or controlling
17 Or manipulative. I think its just healthy of me to react on such things
18 Okay, this is also one of my issues. Nobody is perfect. Also trying to do something with it, but some things take time

19 Yes I do :) but you can do that together with someone too

I don't think I am difficult really. But complexed, yeah :)

2 I want things MY way
3 I very often find people to be clingy
4 I hate clingy
5 I dont want to rescue or be rescued!!!!!!!
6 Me freedom is almost everything to me
7 I need lot of space and alone-time
8 I love flirting (Even though I mean nothing with it)
9 I am extremely slutty in the right circumstances (selective slut; With just one guy; my boyfriend)
10 I have some gross eatinghbaits now and then (I can eat an entire package
of creamcheese without anything else on it)
11 I do what I want to do and I hate to plan things (I am so bad at it also)
12 I love being alone
13 I am very weird (At least people tell me so, not sure to which extent I agree)
14 If things bore me I find something else to play with
15 I hate clingy (had to repeat that)
16 I hate any form of control or being controlled
17 I hate any form of manipulative behavior, even if people do it unconsciously
18 I have problems with demands, restrictions ands rules of any kind

19 I just wanna, live , love and be free (Yes, I am sortof a hippie)

See? I am damned difficult ;)

The Blues

If you are new to Blues music, or like it but never really understood the why and wherefores, here are.....
Some very fundamental rules about Blues:
(My absoulte favourite was nr 19, ha, ha!)

1. Most Blues begin with: "Woke up this morning..."

2. "I got a good woman" is a bad way to begin the Blues, unless you stick something nasty in the next line like, "I got a good woman, with the meanest face in town."

3. The Blues is simple. After you get the first line right, repeat it. Then find something that rhymes - sort of: "Got a good woman with the meanest face in town. Yes, I got a good woman with the meanest face in town. Got teeth like Margaret Thatcher and she weigh 500 pound."

4. The Blues is not about choice. You stuck in a ditch, you stuck in a ditch...ain't no way out.

5. Blues cars: Chevys, Fords, Cadillacs and broken-down trucks. Blues don't travel in Volvos, BMWs, or Sport Utility Vehicles. Most Blues transportation is a Greyhound bus or a southbound train. Jet aircraft and state-sponsored motor pools ain't even in the running. Walkin' plays a major part in the Blues lifestyle. So does fixin' to die.

6. Teenagers can't sing the Blues. They ain't fixin' to die yet. Adults sing the Blues. In Blues, "adulthood" means being old enough to get the electric chair if you shoot a man in Memphis.

7. Blues can take place in New York City, but not in Hawaii or anywhere in Canada. Hard times in Minneapolis or Seattle is probably just clinical depression. Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Memphis, and Nawlins are still the best places to have the Blues. You cannot have the Blues in any place that don't get rain.

8. A man with male pattern baldness ain't the Blues. A woman with male pattern baldness is. Breaking your leg 'cause you were skiing is not the Blues. Breaking your leg 'cause a alligator be chomping on it is.

9. You can't have no Blues in an office or a shopping mall. The lighting is wrong. Go outside to the parking lot or sit by the dumpster.

10. Good places for the Blues (a) highway (b) jailhouse (c) empty bed (d)bottom of a whiskey glass.

11. Bad places for the Blues (a) Nordstrom's (b) gallery openings (c)Ivy League institutions (d) golf courses.

12. No one will believe it's the Blues if you wear a suit, 'less you happen to be an old person, and you slept in it.

13. Do you have the right to sing the Blues? Yes, if: (a) you're older than dirt (b) you're blind (c) you shot a man in Memphis (d) you can't be satisfied No, if: (a) you have all your teeth (b) you once were
blind but now can see (c) the man in Memphis lived (d) you have a 401K or trust fund.

14. Blues is not a matter of color. It's a matter of bad luck. Tiger Woods cannot sing the Blues. Sonny Liston could have. Ugly white people also got a leg up on the Blues.

15. If you ask for water and your darlin' gives you gasoline, it's the Blues. Other acceptable Blues beverages are: (a) cheap wine (b)whiskey or bourbon (c) muddy water (d) black coffee. The following are NOT Blues beverages: (a) Perrier (b) Chardonnay (c) Snapple (d) Slim Fast.

16. If death occurs in a cheap motel or a shotgun shack, it's a Blues death. Stabbed in the back by a jealous lover is another Blues way to die. So are the electric chair, substance abuse and dying lonely on a broken-down cot. You can't have a Blues death if you die during a tennis match or while getting liposuction.

17. Some Blues names for women: (a) Sadie (b) Big Mama (c) Bessie (d)Fat River Dumpling.

18. Some Blues names for men: (a) Joe (b) Willie (c) Little Willie (d)Big Willie.

19. Persons with names like Michelle, Amber, Jennifer, and Heather can't sing the Blues no matter how many men they shoot in Memphis.

20. Blues Name Starter Kit: (a) name of physical infirmity (Blind,Cripple, Lame, Toothless, etc.) (b) first name (see above) plus name of fruit (Lemon,Lime, Peach, etc.) (c) last name of President (Jefferson, Johnson,Fillmore, etc.) For example: Blind Lemon Jefferson, Pegleg Lime Johnson or Cripple Peach Fillmore, etc.

21. I don't care how tragic your life is: if you own a computer, you cannot sing the blues, period. Sorry

Oh, it seems I have been tagged. This is something unknown to me until this very day, but life is a learning-process isn't it? .... So, heh.
Being tagged means according to Sangroncito -who did this evil deed to me (sob, sob*) I have to list five to ten songs that I am currently "digging". Since I found this extremely painful and a total waste of my time, I spent even more time on it and added 18** instead (Never been so good on following rules MUHAHHA!*huge grin*

This will reveal one of my hidden secrets for many years (shame, shame, but I will give in for the pressure)
Then I am instructed to tag five other people to make them reveal their shame to the world as well (So much fun, HAH!)
